Nga Tran is a young Vietnamese female artist. With a new, contemporary perspective, it is the spirit of youth that wants to bring something new to the traditional Vietnamese painting line - Vietnamese engraved painting.

Vietnamese engraved painting is a visual art, the perfection of the painting depends on the delicate, emotional carvings and images.

Engravings require a lot of care from sketching, layout as well as bright, dark, and black colors. No matter how large the painting is, it still requires care and precision down to every centimeter.

Artist Nga Tran has fascinated viewers with the richness of his drawings and his ability to change the composition intelligently and reasonably. Through many ways of processing visual space, sometimes following the authentic "Western" style, sometimes following the "conventional" style of Asian painting.

She believes that "Art comes from the simple things of life".The paintings always exude the simple, peaceful beauty of the people and landscapes of Vietnam's homeland.

Nga Tran was born in 1988. Studied at Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts. She pursues traditional Vietnamese painting - Painting and engraving. With the desire to bring newness and modernity to a line of ethnic paintings.

Nga Tran is an artist who studies traditional ethnic art - wood carvings. She was influenced by traditional wood carving, Japanese wood carving and Dutch painting (including Vincent Willem Van Gogh).
