Ruben Abstract

My name is Rubén Rodríguez; I am 49 years old, half from the Canary Islands and half from Madrid, where I currently reside and have my studio next to Retiro Park in the city centre. My professional experience has always been in marketing, and I have never taken painting classes; however, it was always what I wanted to do. One fine day, I set aside all my fears and pursued this dream. I have been painting for seven years, and for the past 3.5 years, I have been doing it full-time. I love this profession and am doing well and growing thanks to everything I have learned in marketing and sales. I love the personal story I tell through my two collections and am passionate about seeing how many people connect with it. I am a fan of epoxy resin, and it has taken me thousands of trials and errors to handle it as I do today. I am passionate about sports, triathlons, and Ironman, and I am currently more focused on marathons. I have a daughter, and I am happily married.
