Artist Statement:
Matteo Ferretti was born in Parma in 1976.
Since 2000 his works exhibited in several national and international galleries and worked in cities like Paris, Berlin, Miami, Sao Paulo, Moscow and Dubai.
His international solo exhibition debuted at the Fondazione Stelline in Milan, 2005.
He participated at the 51° and 53° Biennale di Venezia.
He was part of Louis Vuitton’s team developing the maison‘s "Moai travel of light" project (2007 - 2009).
He partecipated at 2010 Beijing International Art Biennale. In 2013 he was among the selected few artists invited to the UE Commission congress "New narrative for Europe", held by then President José Barroso.
In 2008 Matteo Ferretti started the Brainhaus Project, eventually become Brainhaus Project Ltd with base in London.
