Lynne Atwood

My paintings reflect my personality: upbeat, eclectic, mostly realistic and colorful. For all of my adult life, I have painted what is appealing to me; whether it is land, sea, floral, reflections, or children playing on the beach. I especially enjoy painting children and animals in natural settings such as the ocean, lakes, forest, parks, and gardens, and use my own photography as a reference. I am naturally drawn to flowers, dappled sunlight, interesting shadow patterns, reflections on glass, and the play of natural light on my subjects. I enjoy painting commission pieces of people, pets, homes and gardens.
