Artist Statement:
For me, art is not just pure aesthetics, but also the telling of stories that I express with my creative voice.
The themes of violence, fear, injury, and isolation deeply affect me. I try to transfer these emotions onto the canvas while preserving their authenticity, which comes from an understanding of their meaning.
I live and work in Maintal, near Frankfurt am Main.

Also have I participated in several artist competitions in the last years. For example I was in the final round or one of the long/shortlisted/finalist artists at the Palm Award (2013), National Portrait Gallery: BP Portrait Award (2016), Ashurst Emerging Artist Prize (2016), Charly Smith Prize (Anthology 2016), Derwent Art Prize (2016), Luxembourg Art Prize 2016.
