Hopefully, you’ve taken the first two steps to organize your art collection. If so, you’re ready to assess the overall balance of what you have. If you’re heavy on photography, now it’s time to diversify by considering other media like original works on canvas or paper. If you’re heavy on original paintings, try collecting photography or mixed media. Ultimately, your art collection will develop strength and synergy if multiple mediums are represented. Another way to look at it is – how many works are behind glass? If none or all, then diversify.
